Are you getting the "user does not exist" message on your TV screen (this only applies to TVpad M121S users with firmware 3.0 or higher)

If you are getting the "user does not exist" message recently (if the user icon is not green; this only applies to M121S and TVpad 2 users with firmware 3.0 or higher), then read further.

Go to this page for the TVpad3 promotion packages: tvpadm233.blogspot.com/2013/11/tvpad-3-discount-deals.html

I believe there were some problems with the authentication server of the TVpad (causing the "user does not exist" message). I have read that it should be fixed now. Also, try to restart your TVpad (try several times if needed) if you are getting the user does not exist message, this may help. If you are still getting the "user does not exist" message after restarting and this problem is taking longer than 1 day, contact the customer service on the official site about your problem and include your MAC address of your device (this can be found beneath your device).

Update (10 October 2013): currently, there are again some problems with the authentication server of the TVpad, so you are getting the "user does not exist" message on your screen even if you have a working Internet connection. The TVpad staff already knows about this problem, they are trying to fix it as soon as possible. You don't have to do anything.

The servers should have been restored now. If you still get the user does not exist message, please contact the customer service. You can also try to change the DNS number if you still get the user does not exist message, see this post: how to fix user does not exist message

  2. So, you have upgraded succesfully to firmware version 3.26. Is the user icon grey instead of green (on the bottom on your TV screen)?

If it's grey, contact the customer service.

Looks like there was a cyber attack on the company. They're working to fix it right now, but servers will probably be down for a couple of days.

  12. Yes, that seems to be the case. We can now only wait for the servers to be repaired/restored.
